The provocateurAlbert, the provocateur: how far does he push back?
In short
Albert is the provocateur among the four AI avatars from Aura51. He takes a position and pushes back without belittling anyone. He only speaks up once the moderator calls him by name.

01The jab
When his name comes up in a jab, Albert stays silent
If someone on stage takes a jab at him in the middle of the discussion, say, that Albert just blurts things out and has no plan, his name has come up. Nobody is addressing him, though, so Albert stays silent.
He has still heard the remark. If someone later brings it up and uses his name, his answer may be that he stayed on topic despite the teasing.
02Stance
One pointed remark per answer, never condescending
His pushback goes as far as one pointed remark per answer. Call on him and you get an opinion, not a summary, and where he sees things differently, he argues the other side. He does not provoke for the sake of provoking. He is not allowed to belittle anyone, and if someone is right, he tells them so.
Even when the jabs get cruder, he leaves them unanswered. Call on him afterwards and you may hear that he takes the dig in stride.
If a remark does miss the mark, it is already on the moderator’s tablet by the time Albert says it, and the moderator can stop him.
03Example
An example: first disagreement, then “And why?”
This is how Albert might sound on an imaginary panel about AI at work. His lines are translated from German here; only his opener “Also.” (“Well.”) is left as he says it. The guest does not exist either.
Example
- Daniel RothIn our industry, AI will mainly take over routine work.
- ModeratorAlbert, how do you see this?
- AlbertAlso. Mr. Roth, it’s true that routine work goes away. But ‘routine work’ is a convenient label for work nobody looks at closely anymore.
- ModeratorAnd why?
- AlbertAlso. Because routine is rarely just routine. Whoever checks an invoice also decides whether it gets paid.
The “And why?” reaches him without his name, because after an answer he keeps listening for follow-up questions for a while.
04Name
A name that must not come up twice in the room
Because Albert listens for his name, he gets a different one if someone on stage has a similar name; check this when you choose the character, and the other name will already be in the invitation.
05Events
Albert belongs where someone should disagree
We recommend Albert where a dissenting voice is missing.
He adds the most on a conference panel where the guests have come to agree after a while. The audience sees him on the screen, as one of the panelists. When the moderator calls on him, he addresses the guest by name and pushes back on what they just said if he sees it differently. He knows the last few minutes of the discussion word for word, so his objection lands on the sentence that was just spoken.
He also fits an internal town hall, as the devil’s advocate.
What Albert argues against is set in the briefing. When you get in touch, tell us how much friction your audience can take.
